Cornuda Social Inclusion Project for Vulnerable Residents Support

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is around one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for meeting and showing solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
Voluntary organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, guaranteeing active participation by the local community.
Overall, the convention represents an example of collaboration between institutions and citizens aimed at safeguarding and improving the quality of life of the most vulnerable individuals.
