On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated budget for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.
