Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launch Supports Vulnerable Groups
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation, services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
