Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Community and Institution Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable categories. Social transportation and institutions, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
