Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Community and Institution Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable individuals.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of seniors and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total sum allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

In addition, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering points will be enhanced.
