Cornuda Social Support Initiative Promotes Inclusion and Community Engagement
Beginning of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various voluntary organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need.
Transport services, social services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
