Cornuda Social Support Project Launchs with Regional and European Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ‘ operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ‘ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the target groups.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
