On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
