Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Funding

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included local political and social representatives, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated funds for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for vulnerable groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for social interaction and solidarity among citizens.

The role of institutions and associations

The Municipal Administration has committed itself to supporting initiatives, ensuring security and coordination services among the various involved components.

Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
