On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to implement a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Attending the event were some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims specifically to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and EU grants.
