On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer associations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total sum allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.
