Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Funding and Community Roles
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day June 1996, an agreement was signed in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to endorse a project supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, with a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will be strengthened.
