Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Funding and Community Support
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day early June 1996, an agreement was signed at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for a project supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces took part in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additional enhancements will be made to social transportation and services, as well as listening centers and gathering spaces.
