Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to around one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union resources.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Social transportation will also be strengthened, and listening and meeting centers will be established.
