On early June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total funding allocated for implementing the initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
