Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Local Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people. Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need. Additionally, social transport and services, as well as listening and gathering centers, will be enhanced.
