Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Local Support
Start of the agreement and participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the socially vulnerable.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.
Activities and planned objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport and services, listening and gathering centers will also be enhanced.
