Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Local Support and €100K Funding

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the realization of this initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project intends to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.

Role of Institutions and Associations

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
