Start of the Convention and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
