Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Regional Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
