Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Aid Vulnerable Groups
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention for signing a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community grants.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transportation services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
