Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Regional Funding and Community Support
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day early June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in support of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association (associazione di quartiere), and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total funds allocated for the implementation of the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
