Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Attending the operation were some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
