Cornuda Social Project Launch Aims to Support Vulnerable Residents
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last for two years, principally aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation and institutions, listening centers, and gathering places will be strengthened.
