Cornuda Social Support Initiative Aims to Boost Community Inclusion
Beginning of the agreement and participants
On early June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer associations.

The project, which lasts two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

Activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering points will be enhanced.
