Cornuda’s Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding

Start of the agreement and participants

On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the socially more vulnerable.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering points will also be enhanced.
