Cornuda Social Support Initiative Aims to Boost Inclusion and Community Care

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, with a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European community funds.

Transportation services, social support, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
