On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated amount for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home care assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
