Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total allocated fund for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

Planned Activities and Specific Goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening centers and aggregation hubs will be established.
