Cornuda Social Support Initiative Enhances Lives of Vulnerable Residents

Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the end of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in’ the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which lasts two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be strengthened.
