Cornuda Social Support Initiative Launches with Local Partnership

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially disadvantaged individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

Social transport services, support centers, listening centers, and gathering points will also be enhanced.
