Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Local Support and Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
