Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Community and EU Support
Beginning of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most socially disadvantaged people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims specifically to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport services, support services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
