Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Aid Vulnerable Residents
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable members of society.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.
Planned Activities and Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories.
Additionally, social transport services and services such as listening centers and gathering spots will be enhanced.

l’ Comune di Cornuda has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
