Cornuda Social Support Project Aims to Improve Elderly and Disabled Care
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which lasts two years, aims specifically to improve the quality of life of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.
