On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of theneighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker social groups. Additionally, social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and community centers established.
