On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, among them the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association (associazione di quartiere), and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the vulnerable groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
