Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Elderly and Disabled Well-Being

On June 9, 1996, a conference was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total allocated funds for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Goals
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community interaction and solidarity.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting these initiatives by providing oversight and coordination services among the involved components.
