Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Inclusion with €100K Funding
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the implementation of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Goals and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport services, community centers, listening stations, and gathering spots will also be strengthened.
