Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Community and Official Support

Beginning of the agreement and participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering points will be enhanced.
