Cornuda Social Support Project: Community, Funding & Inclusion Goals
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a signing agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for a project aimed at supporting those most socially vulnerable.
Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which lasts for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total funds allocated for the ’ initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
