Cornuda Social Support Project Launch: Collaboration & Inclusion
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting socially disadvantaged individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.

The Role of Institutions and Associations
l’ Municipal Administration has committed to support the initiative, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in organization and management of the activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
