Cornuda Social Support Project Launch: Enhancing Elderly and Disabled Lives
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various voluntary associations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories. Additionally, social transportation and institutions, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
