Start of the Convention and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces took part, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated funds for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
