Cornuda Social Support Project Launch Promotes Inclusion and Well-Being

Cornuda Convention

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social integration and improve the quality of life of the people involved, also creating moments of encounter and solidarity among citizens.

Role of Institutions and Associations

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.

Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.

Overall, the convention represents an example of collaboration between institutions and citizens aimed at protecting and improving the quality of life of the most vulnerable individuals.
