Cornuda Social Support Project Launches in 1996 with Community and Institution Collaboration

On the day of June 1996, an agreement was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various voluntary organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Transport services, social programs, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
