Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Aid Elderly and Disabled
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day early June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the socially disadvantaged.
A few representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ‘ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, with a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ‘ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories.
