Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Aid Vulnerable Residents

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day start of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved several representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association (associazione di quartiere), and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
