Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Improve Elderly and Disabled Lives
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations and various volunteering organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims especially to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for implementing the’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the categories most in need.
Transportation services, social services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.

The Role of Institutions and Associations
l Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved entities.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
