Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with 100K Euro Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association (associazione di quartiere), and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation services will be strengthened, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
